Nothing you can say can convince me that Data did not later take Spot to the holodeck and programmed the computer to create a field with long grass and plenty of mice. He watched his kitty have the time of her life hunting holographic mice. He was perplexed by the evolutionary significance of the pre-pounce butt wiggle and wrote terrible poetry about it. Upon his next poetry reading, Troi cried trying not to laugh and Data was pleased his poetry had finally elicited an emotional reaction.
Well this is canon now.

If you want to honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg, vote.
Vote to protect the laws she championed and the human rights she fought for.
Vote because democracy and equality matter.

something people don’t talk about is how germans are obsessed with… air? i’ll just be chilling in my room with a german friend and suddenly they’ll get up to open the window like “boy we need that frische luft” and then another one will get up to open all the other windows like “müssen gut durchlüften bruder” like… y’all really obsessed with oxygen huh
This is legit like in any given neighbourhood in Germany you’ll see open windows. Doesn’t matter if it’s winter or summer. Sleeping with the window open isnormal. In the UK in the average neighbourhood, windows will be overwhelmingly closed. And they’re much smaller than in Germany anyway. In Germany, normally all windows open all the way (even the ones that are so high up that you need a ladder to open them). In the UK it’s not unusual that only part of the windows opens - a place I lived in had windows where only the upper fifth of each window would open - and you even have houses that have like four or five windows side by side and only the two outer windows or part of the two outer windows open. I also had to live with 5 people in a house share for a while and I was the only one who ever opened the kitchen window or the living room window, and even if the water from the cooking was streaming down the window pane there’d be an argument whether it was really necessary to open the window now.
To conclude, Brits are irrationally afraid of opening the windows.

The projects that I end up doing, that I want to be involved with in any way, have always been projects that will be impactful, for the most part, to my people — to black people. To see black people in ways which you have not seen them before. So Black Panther was on my radar, and in my dreams.
